Dennis Muchmore is Of Counsel to MHSA. He is currently the Executive Director of the Michigan United Conservation Clubs, whose 45,000 members and 400 clubs make it the largest state conservation organization in the country.

Mr. Muchmore serves as an appointee of the Governor as Trustee of the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund and the Climate Action Council, and is an appointed Board Member of the Great Lakes Fishery Trust. He also is a member of the Boards of Directors of GreenStone Farm Credit Services; Phoenix Composite Solutions, LLC; and Physicians Health Plan of Mid-Michigan. Additionally, he is a partner in TOMDEN Enterprises, a standing member of the Eastern Illinois University Foundation, the Citizen's Advisory Committee for the Lansing Board of Water and Light, and the Advisory Committee of the Michigan State University Public Policy Program.

He is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Oakland University, the Eastern Illinois University Foundation and chaired the Lansing Community College Foundation. Additionally, he has served on the boards of the Michigan Capitol Chapter of the American Society of Public Administration, the Capitol Chapter of the American Society of Public Administrators, the Michigan Festival, the Mayor's Committee for Downtown Development and numerous other mid-Michigan organizations. Dennis Muchmore earned a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Michigan State University. In 1998 he received the Outstanding Alumnus Award from the Michigan State University College of Social Science, Public Administration Program.
