Dennis Muchmore serves as Of Counsel to MHSA. He is also an Executive Vice President of DHR International, the nation's fifth largest executive recruiting firm.
Mr. Muchmore is a member of the Boards of Directors of GreenStone Farm Credit Services; Phoenix Composite Solutions, LLC; Physicians Health Plan of Mid-Michigan; Liberty Renewable Fuels, LLC; the Delta Sigma Phi International Fraternity Foundation and is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Michigan State University Public Policy Program. He has previously been a member of the Board of Trustees of Oakland University and has served on the Board of Directors of the Capitol Chapter of the American Society of Public Administrators.
Dennis is also a member of Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration, the American Society of Public Administrators, the American Society of Political Consultants and is a life member of the NAACP.
He has held a variety of prominent positions in Michigan, including Vice President of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, Manager of Tax and Labor Affairs for the Chamber, consultant to the Michigan Senate Select Committee on Municipal Finance, and Administrative Assistant to two Michigan Senate Finance Committee Chairs.
Dennis earned a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Michigan State University. In 1998 he received the Outstanding Alumnus Award from the Michigan State University College of Social Science, Public Administration Program. He is licensed by the State of Michigan as a Life Insurance/Producer.
